ACE Pet Resort is currently seeking two Kennel Technician Positions.  Salary starts at $8 per hour but varies with experience.

If you are not able to work the hours described, please do not apply for these positions.  Experience is not required but you must love dogs of all breeds and sizes.

Position I:

Monday          7:30 – 1

Tuesday         7:30 - 3

Wednesday    7:30 – 3

Thursday        7:30 – 1

Position II:

Sunday             7:30 - 6

Wednesday       7:30 – 6

Thursday           7:30 – 6

Friday               7:30 – 3

Principal duties include:

• Engage in play activities with pets, including exercise walks, play, etc.
• Clean and sanitize all pet enclosures, exercise yards, and common areas.
• Assist daily laundry duties and facility maintenance duties.
• Record accurate information on the status, activities and behavior of each pet.
• Report any health, behavior, or safety concerns to the manager on duty.
• Provide each pet with a continuous supply of fresh water.
• Assist with general bathing of boarding pets.

Job Qualifications:

• Passion for animals and animal care, especially dogs and cats.
• Physically able to work in all types of weather and be on feet for extended periods of time.
• Previous experience providing care for dogs or cats preferred. (e.g. animal clinic, pet shelter, or personal pets)
• Physically able to secure and handle large dogs and to not be afraid of large dogs.
• Physically able to handle facility maintenance and cleaning duties.
• Effective record-keeping and communications skills.
• Dependability and reliability in performance of all duties.
• Good attendance and punctuality record with previous employers.
• Good work ethic and willingness to follow direction.
• Must be on time and present a professional appearance.
